A vacuum cleaner, also called a vacuum cleaner or a hopper, is a small device which generates suction in order to extract loose dirt from drapery, floors, furniture, and other hard surfaces. The motor, suction tube, and intake port all play a role in generating the suction pressure necessary to draw particles from the floor, carpet, or furniture. High suction pressure will pull particles into the cleaner and lower the air pressure in the hose. The larger the dose, the lower the air pressure in the hose, which in turn, will allow the flow of water to the filter and to the air chamber. When the air pressure in the hose and the air pressure in the air chamber are the same, a vacuum cleaner will not only suck up dust particles but will also suck up lint, hair, and dander from bedding and clothing.
